What tools and accessories are compatible with TailHand?
TailHand is designed with standard 19mm (¾”) dog holes and ¾” T-tracks, making it compatible with most popular bench dog, clamping, and T-track accessories used by woodworkers, metal fabricators, welders, and DIYers.
Why are there notches in the dog holes in some of your pictures and videos?
In an effort to develop a well-designed, versatile and strong product, our team has worked through a variety of changes, adjustments and updates to TailHand prior to launching to our customers. You'll see several variations across images and videos on the website that will not be on the final TailHand you receive. Two specific things you will see on the website that WILL NOT be on your TailHand are:1. Notches in the dog holes. Your TailHand will have normal, full-circle dog holes. 2. Green t-tracks. Your TailHand will have a black surface and black t-tracks. We are already working on future features and products so, if you have ideas of what you would like to see in the future, please let us know by emailing your ideas to ideas@tailhand.com.
Will TailHand interfere with anything in the bed of my truck?
The TailHand platform is 2.5” deep and should not interfere with factory-installed truck bed features. However, it’s always a good idea to measure your specific truck in advance to be sure the TailHand will not interfere with your unique set-up. Check out our detailed specifications.
